My favorite hotel

Ramada by Wyndham Hawthorne LAX / LA Stadium

Be aware...this hotel is dated and definitely needs some upgrades. But in spite of that, this hotel is a real gem...especially if you ask for a jacuzzi suite! I was upgraded to one, and it was sublime! I had a corner room facing the indoor pool/courtyard, and my room included a jacuzzi tub facing the bed, which I used to take a nice relaxing bubble bath! The hotel is in a prime location to get downtown and is only a few blocks away from the airport. This isn't a 5-star property, but for what you're paying, it's a lot for the money. The staff here are super-friendly and helpful as well!

Habit Burger!

Habit Burger & Grill is a California-based burger chain. They're only on the west coast (also in Oregon and Washington), and in my opinion their burgers are way better than other popular chains like 'In & Out Burger' and '5 Guys'. Their Char Burger is great, but they also have specialties like the Teriyaki Pineapple Burger and Portabella Burger. There are locations in Inglewood, El Segundo, and Gardena, all fairly close to the airport.
