Houston Texas

Houston is a massive, sprawling city, and is the 4th most populated city in the United States. It's a lot to take in. The traffic is probably some of the worst I've ever encountered in my life. For this reason, I have found a quiet little corner of the city that I try to stay situated in whenever I go there for work, and that is the south end of Midtown. There, you'll find my favorite Airbnb, which is a tiny home situated in someone's backyard. The owner, Jerry, has chickens, a dog, and a cat that roam about the property and keep you company, and when the chickens are laying eggs, he'll supply you with complementary eggs to cook in the tiny home's kitchen. Across the street is Axelrad's Beer Garden, which is next door to Retrospect Coffee, and Luigi's Pizza. Axelrad's also serves as a hangout spot for lots of vendors and artists, food trucks, has an outdoor concert stage, and hosts shows like standup comedy upstairs inside the building. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the big city, and is an amazing little spot. I HIGHLY recommend it! 1 block down the street you can also find Under the Radar Brewing, and 1 block in the other direction is Baldwin Park/Vietnam Heritage Park.
