Hollywood/Burbank

Burbank, Hollywood & Van Nuys

Hollywood/Hollywood Boulevard is without a doubt my favorite part of the LA metro area. There are so many fun things to do and see that I've spent entire nights here without an itinerary and simply wandered around to my heart's content and have been entertained for hours. Drive out to the Hollywood Hills and see the famous Hollywood sign (and some amazing houses). See all the stars on the Walk of Fame and check out all the cool shops and museums along the walk of fame while you're out there (I've noted some of my favorites on the side of this blog). People-watching on Hollywood Blvd is a fun experience in itself...

My Favorite Bar ↑

The Scum and Villainy Cantina is a Star Wars themed bar, designed to look similar to the Mos Eisley Cantina from A New Hope. The drink menu features specialty cocktails such as "blue milk". When I visited, they had karaoke taking place, and the people performing were actually really impressive!

Great Museum!

The Medieval Torture Museum...it's very gruesome and grotesque, but fascinating, and an enlightening insight into the most horrid things that human beings have done to each other throughout history...mostly in the name of religion
